Biography

Education:
Paul attended Moorhead State College where he earned a B.S. Chemistry and attended graduate school at University Of Minnesota Dental College. Later, he attended St. Mary’s Campus at Riverside where he completed academic requirement for a alcohol and drug certification. In 1999 he earned a Masters degree in marriage and family counseling at the University of Wisconsin at Stout.

Career Summary
Paul has been in private practice since 1999, helping at-risk children and the thoughtful adults who care for them. He incorporates concepts of attachment and narrative theory into an emotionally warm and playful manner to help clients deepen relationships and solve problems. Areas of expertise overlap between family therapy (traditional, GLBT, adoptive, and foster families), individual / marital therapy, and situations that involve substance abuse.

Paul’s work history includes providing mental health services at Wastedo day treatment setting for 10 years and functioning as in interrum clinical director at RiverEast day treatment school.
